An Explanation

An Explanation

Good morning, Friends!

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week. I am so glad to be in November; it is my favorite month! I love the cool breeze and the chill in the air!

I have an explanation to make.

Grief

I’ve been inconsistent in my emails and my blog lately.

My grandma, who I’m very close to, passed away recently.

I’ve simply been stunned and grieving.

Talking to her is the bright spot in my day. I’m lost without her.

The great thing about losing someone is you never have to be ok with them being gone.

You know, usually, when I have an unpleasant emotion, I try to overcome it—fear, embarrassment, etc. Just overcome it.

But, grief. You don’t have to overcome.
I know it will eventually become just joyous memories. Right now, it’s still a shock.

Concerning Business

I need to remember where I left off.

Once I’m active, the flow will return.

My Facebook Lead Ad has been steadily working for me. My cost per lead in October was a $1.18. So, that’s great.

I need to make a YouTube video. Right now, I can’t think of what I would do, but I did have plenty of ideas. I’ll pick that back up.

I shall begin sending regular emails and practicing telling stories again. I’m so glad I can tell you I’m new at storytelling emails.

Please, go easy on me. I’m sure I’ll get better at it! LOL!

Conclusion

I hope to get back into the swing of things.

I shall do my best to focus and keep swinging.

All the best to you,

  3. Hi Nakina – I am so sorry to hear about your profound loss! The loss of anyone close is a huge blow and I can appreciate how this must have distracted you from your business. However, distraction is not negative in this case as you do need to take time to grieve and grieve well for your loss. You will pick up where you left off. You have to drive an energy and intelligence to make this business work and I have no doubt that your journey is in full force. I can’t wait to see you succeed!

    1. Hi, Ernie!
Thank you so much. I have been at a loss longer than I anticipated. Something I have learned is that really is okay. I thank you for your kind words saying so as well. I do look forward to getting back in a groove. Grandma’s memorial is today (I can’t sleep right now). I hope to get back to a more normal groove soon.
      Nakina
