Juggling “All the Things”

Juggling “All the Things”

Good morning, Friends!

I’ve had a wonderful week; I hope you have, too!

Wednesday morning, my mentor Dean said something that has transformed my mindset. He said that as long as you learn from your failures, there is no failure—only ever-winning.

Wow! That’s something I could go for, so I’ve really been thinking about it.

I’ve only ever thought of Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote, “What would you do if you couldn’t fail?” as a hypothetical question.

Well, maybe it isn’t. I have so much support from my mentor and his team that I can certainly learn whatever I need to. So, what if I could only ever win in the future?

How would that change my behavior?

Today, I look forward to telling you my winning plan. Let’s get to it!

Overall Strategy

I have three components to my affiliate marketing strategy.

I’m using my blog as a hub for my Facebook Lead Ad and YouTube channel, which focus on the make money online niche.

My ads and my YouTube channel will direct traffic to my blog, while I can make offers on both YouTube and my blog.

I’ll also email my subscribers, updating them on my efforts throughout the week.

Where does TikTok come in? I’m excited to announce that I’m following my heart and starting a second niche!

I’ll use TikTok to build an audience of readers. I’ll tease them with snippets from the classics and see if I can build an audience.

From there, perhaps I’ll start a book club, a blog, or something more. That’s not defined yet.

I will begin by building an audience and seeing what they are interested in from me.

Maintaining an Active Facebook Lead Ad

In maintaining my lead ad, I’m sending emails to my subscribers. I’ll let them know when I publish my blog and my YouTube videos. I’ll keep them updated with lessons I learn throughout the week.

My ad is doing very well currently. My cost per lead averages to a $1.61. There’s room for improvement, but I think that’s very good for my first ad.

Soon, I will tweak the picture and see if that improves, but not this week.

For the next couple of weeks, I’m going to get more consistent at sending follow-up emails.

I’m also going to start posting on my Facebook business page. You know, I don’t like to post on Facebook, but with a Facebook lead ad, I need to have something there, so people can look me up and find out who I am.

In fact, inspired by Dean’s winning comment, I made my first non-blog post post this week!

That took some courage, silly as it may seem, yet I did it!

Maintaining My Blog

I’ll continue to post regularly to my blog.

I want to come up with a couple of generic blog posts I could post when I’ve been ill. I don’t like missing weeks, so having some evergreen content would ease my mind and take the pressure off the need to be well or be constantly behind. The stress that it causes doesn’t help matters.

Since it’s going to happen, it needs to be okay to be sick. The beauty of this business is that it can be!

I also want to be sure to read my blog comments each day.

I missed two days this week reading comments and got behind. I think it is important to respond as quickly as possible.

By the way, I had my first person outside of people I know comment on my blog this week! I am so excited about that!

Posting My First YouTube Video

I’ve been ready to post my first YouTube video for some time and just haven’t done it.

Each week I’m busy doing something else.

This week is different. The me who cannot fail will make that first video and just learn how to do it better in the future!

I’ve been reading the much recommended book The YouTube Formula. I’m not finished but I’m just going to get started.

No need to put it off any longer.

I will begin by publishing one video a week on Mondays. The goal is to have a reel on both Wednesday and Friday. I’ll incorporate YouTube hopping (using the same strategy as blog hopping) throughout the week.

Starting a TikTok Channel

I’m familiar with much of the theory behind a TikTok channel, but I haven’t published a video yet.

I discovered you could use a filter to improve undereye bags, and I decided I could do it! Lol! As vain as that is, those bags were really holding me back!

All kidding aside, I think I can entertain and entice people to read.

I know I need to publish at least once a day. I have a list of ideas ready to begin.

I’ll again work on the strategy ahead of time to be consistent.

We shall see where that leads!

Conclusion

There you have it! With these tasks in mind, I’m on my way to juggling “all the things.”

Let me know if you’d like to know how I’m handling my schedule or if you have any other questions.

Got any tips, tricks, or experiences to share?

  1. Hi Nakina – This is such a fantastic plan and your optimism is contagious! I could just hear the smile and excitement as I read weren’t you intend, and no doubt, will do! Congratulations on all your decisions and achievements so far. You have a lot going on but this is not uncommon for successful affiliate marketers. Many other programs offer those “shiny objects” where they don’t detail the amount of work that is needed to become successful. What you have outlined is the true work that you will need to do, as defined by you, to become successful. Way to go and I look forward to watching your videos and consuming your content!

    1. Hi, Ernie!
Thank you so much for your heartfelt congratulations! I really appreciate the encouragement. It is a lot of work, but I think the key is to enjoy the process rather than get bogged down by it. All we need to do is try and we can always improve from there. Thanks again!

  3. Nakina, your approach to embracing failure as a stepping stone to success is truly empowering. It’s refreshing to see how you’re leveraging this mindset to fuel your diverse strategies across different platforms. Balancing your blog, YouTube, and TikTok endeavors while maintaining a positive outlook on potential setbacks demonstrates a proactive and resilient attitude. I especially appreciate your plan to create evergreen content for your blog. As you continue to build and adapt, remember that every challenge is an opportunity to refine your strategy and grow. Keep up the great work, and best of luck with your exciting new ventures!

    1. Thank you, Alison! I’m working on developing that resilient attitude. It’s a most important trait when starting a business. Thank you for your best wishes! They mean a lot to me!

    1. Hi, Jordan!
I can totally relate to the distractions of working from home. I especially like to look out the window with my cup of tea and watch TV for a few minutes, which can turn into longer. LOL! Or just be distracted by little chores that need to be done. I think it’s Brian Tracey that wrote, “The ability to concentrate single-mindedly on your most important task, to finish it completely, and to do it well is the key to great success, … and to happiness in life.” I find it very hard to finish a task completely before moving on, but I’m working on that.
Here’s to blocking out those distractions!

  4. Hi Nakina,

It’s great to see the direction you’re heading in and how you’ve laid out your strategy. It’s inspiring to hear how you’ve been thinking about that powerful idea of learning from every experience, and it sounds like it’s fueling some real progress in your plans.

Your approach to integrating your blog, YouTube channel, and Facebook Lead Ad seems solid, and I love that you’re taking the plunge into TikTok with a new niche. Building an audience of readers on TikTok is a unique angle, and I’m excited to see how that unfolds for you.

Your determination to keep moving forward, even when it means stepping out of your comfort zone, is really motivating. Posting that first non-blog Facebook post, tackling your first YouTube video, and jumping into TikTok are all big steps.

Keep up the fantastic work! It sounds like you’re setting yourself up for continued success. Looking forward to seeing how this journey evolves for you.

Wishing you all the best as you put your plan into action!

    1. Hi, Meredith!
I’m glad you were encouraged by my post. Stepping out of my comfort zone is a must. Once I put myself out there for the first time, I think it will be both empowering and motivating. It’s just the thought of it that’s a bit intimidating. But as Dean says, I cannot fail. And that is true, so watch me fly! Thanks for the encouragement!

  5. Hi Nakina, Wow, you are on fire! I envy your tenaciousness in accomplishing so much. You’re a powerhouse. You can do anything you set your mind to, and it seems you have your goals and daily tasks organized and ready to go. Very impressive! What is the other niche you are going to introduce to TikTok? I have no doubt you will do great with that one as well. I also feel a little self-conscious about videos regarding my face and imperfections, so I use the Facetune app to smooth things out. I like the app’s simplicity, and it does an excellent job.
I look forward to seeing your videos and your success.

    1. Hi, Vanessa! Thank you so much for the encouragement! I’m introducing a book niche. I will tease people with the classics and see if I can get a following. It’s the only thing I’m doing on TikTok. I was wondering if I should also do a make money online channel on TikTok, but that would be a bit much for where I’m at now. I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew! I’m glad I’m not the only one a bit embarrassed to put myself on video for the world to see! I’m glad to hear about the Facetune app. I’ll check it out. Thank you so much for your kind words, Vanessa! Have a great week!

  6. Hi Nakina,
Great post and fantastic plan! I can definitely relate and am looking forward to not only planning the future couple of weeks (if not September in full) but also making sure that I can get some training under my belt and continue growing within my Tik Tok videos (i.e.: get better!)
    Wishing you all the best!

    1. Oh, thank you, Marc! The best to you as well! I’m inspired by your planning for August and will be planning my September in full! I was impressed not only with how you worked your plan but also with your built-in sense of great accomplishment when you were finished. I’m looking forward to that in my September!

  7. Mmm “ever-winning” applying it to your journey, does shift the mindset from fear of failure to a focus on continuous growth and improvement. and I’m all for changing limiting beliefs to positivity.

Your overall strategy is well thought out, and its great to see how you’re integrating different platforms to create a cohesive plan.

Using your blog as a hub for your Facebook Lead Ads and YouTube channel is a smart move, and to leverage each platform’s strengths.

Your decision to explore a second niche with TikTok is exciting! Building an audience around a passion, like literature, and then seeing where that leads, is a creative approach that could open up new opportunities.

Look forward to seeing your plan develop. Congratulations!!
