Looking Forward to 2025
Hello Friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful week!
Mine has gone by in a blur. I am so busy with training classes and implementing what I’m being taught.
I want to give you details and tell you what I plan.
Facebook Lead Ads Follow-up Group
I joined Sophie Sion Byde’s follow-up group. She initially taught me how to do lead ads. As the next step, I’d like to learn much about writing follow-up emails.
Sophie is a great storyteller. I can vouch her emails are very readable, and I’d like to learn the skill myself.
One day a week, our group gets together to ask her questions. I believe we’ll meet another day for an hour-long work session once the new year begins.
I’m excited about this. The company of just working together while we individually work on our emails will be helpful.
YFS Bootcamp
Last week, my mentor Dean Holland began what he is calling Your First Sales. In a nutshell, it’s a six-week course about how to gain an initial following on TikTok to get invited by TikTok to become a TikTok affiliate, and then how to make sales through the TikTok shop.
We’re meeting on Tuesdays for a two-hour class and then on Fridays for a two-hour question and answer session.
This week, I finally set up my TikTok bio @NakinaLawson. I’ve been getting used to watching TikTok videos and letting the algorithm learn my account is a real person, not a bot.
Dean warned us to hold back from creating a TikTok account and immediately start posting videos to avoid getting shut down for this reason.
Next week, we’ll start creating videos.
My niche will be about books. I plan to read small bits of the classics that I think people will enjoy. We’ll see how people like it đŸ™‚
By the way, this class will be open to you again in January. I’ll let you know about the opening as soon as I get the link.
2025
It feels like there’s a lot of change in the air.
I will continue the make money online niche by using my Facebook Lead Ad to get people to my blog. I’ll continue to learn to improve follow-up emails to stay in touch with my audience regularly.
Meanwhile, I plan to begin posting videos on TikTok and become an affiliate there soon.
Perhaps the newness comes from the excitement I feel about sharing my love of reading.
Conclusion
What about the book niche? Well, we’ll see where it leads. Do you think it will catch on? Will people want to follow?
In the best-case scenario, I shall set up a blog with book reviews and a club with membership levels. Possibly, a podcast.
But I don’t want to start by putting too much on my plate. I’ve done that before and learned my lesson. For example, my YouTube channel progress is on hold while I learn TikTok.
Have you ever had to step back and reevaluate your plans? What are yours for 2025?
I’d love to hear what you’re working on!
Please share in the comments!
Ciao for now,
Hi Nakina,
Wow, it sounds like you have so much exciting progress ahead! I love how you’re diving into all these new opportunities, especially the TikTok Shop training and your book niche.
It’s clear that you’re taking things one step at a time and setting yourself up for success. I think the book niche has great potential, it’s such a unique way to connect with people, and I’m sure many will enjoy hearing your thoughts on classics.
I also totally get the importance of not overwhelming yourself, and it’s great that you’re learning to pace yourself. I’m really looking forward to seeing where all of this leads for you in 2025! Keep up the amazing work, Nakina!

Hi, Meredith!
I’m so encouraged to hear your excitement for the book niche! I don’t know what to expect but hope it will catch on. The excitement is catching, yes? đŸ™‚
Nakina
Thanks for your update Nakina. I was wondering about your YouTube presence – but I do understand your concentration on TikTok. I do like the idea of the book niche. I have a number of friends that participate in their own local book of the month club and they gather together once each month to discuss what they have read. Perhaps you could give a link to folks to buy a book and arrange a meeting for similar discussions.
Due to my own budgetary constraints I HAVE had to step back and reevaluate my plans. But I do plan to get back into the Facebook Lead Ads in 2025 with a new theme for aspiring Snowbird vacationers.
You should check out my blog post this week where (in a round-about way) you can access a couple of image templates that I think might come in handy for any platform where you are publishing content with images and videos – not just for Meta.
Have a wonderful and Merry Christmas!

Hi, Bob!
I will check out your blog. I look forward to catching up with you. While researching the book niche, I came across a book club I joined, and I am having a blast! It’s a lot of fun! Best of luck in your new endeavors!

Hi Nakina,
What an exciting time for you! Your plans for 2025 sound both ambitious and inspiring. It’s great to see how you’re strategically approaching affiliate marketing and exploring platforms like TikTok with such enthusiasm.
I think your idea of sharing classic book readings on TikTok is brilliant—it combines your passion for literature with a unique niche in the digital space. There’s something special about revisiting the classics and sharing them in a fresh, engaging way.
As for your plans with blogging and potentially a podcast, I’m sure many will appreciate your insights and storytelling. It’s smart to focus your efforts and not overwhelm yourself, especially when exploring new ventures.
For 2025, I’m looking forward to focusing on personal growth and expanding my own digital projects. It’s all about embracing change and seeing where it leads!
Wishing you all the best on your journey. Keep us posted on your progress!
All the Best,
Hey, Ezequiel!
Thank you for the support! I look forward to hearing more about your digital projects. It is all about embracing changes and taking action to see where it leads! There’s so much excitement around a new year. I’m looking 12 months ahead, and they hold so much promise! The key will be to keep that far gaze throughout the year and continue to believe it holds promise. I feel like I’ve reached a point where I’m eager to act on my dreams and see what happens. I wish the same for you!

Hi Nakina,
Great to read all the work you’re getting done. I decided not to continue with Sophie’s offer for FB Lead Ads, not so much because I didn’t think it wasn’t great but just because I don’t have the time.
On the other hand, I did join Dean’s YFS course as I believe that will be an intricate way for me to get results for the musical application (my pet project) that will be coming out in January 2025.
Getting my work plan and agenda written-up for next week is my next step!
Wishing you all the best!
Marc,
I’ve heard you talk about your music app since I met you. I’m so excited that it’s getting launched. I can’t wait to find out more about it. I wish you all the success in the world! I can see how TikTok would be a great way to let people know about your app and what it can do.
All the best!
Nakina
Hi Nakina – I am so happy to hear and see that you have joined TikTok. You have so much to say and so much to offer and I can’t wait to read about your books and everything you have to say. I look forward to hearing more about your learnings in the class you are taking with Sophie. I was not able to take it this go round but I still am an active participant in the YFS Boot Camp. Have a wonderful week and a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season!
Hey, Ernie!
I’ll definitely keep everyone updated when it comes to all I’m learning regarding follow-up emails. I thank you for all your encouragement when it comes to the book niche. I’m intimidated by those with more knowledge than me. I keep reminding myself it’s my enthusiasm that I want to share and that is great and good enough. I just need to get started and get past the learning how to do the technical aspect. I don’t want to learn how to edit video. LOL! That’s the cold, hard truth but I’m sure it will only get easier once I try, try, try. Thanks for cheering me on, Ernie!
Nakina
Hi Nakina,
Wow, you have a lot going on, and sounds like you’re doing great!
Facebook lead ads are interesting and something that is improved with time.
I also have challenges sometimes writing follow-up emails so I started using the documenting approach. I’ll write about something that happened in my day and then try to make a message of it. That’s for live broadcasts though, not a pre-automated email sequence. Then I’ll copy and paste my email into AI and ask for subject line suggestions and email description suggestions. Sometimes it works out and sometimes not đŸ™‚
All the best now and through 2025!!

Hey, Denny!
That’s really helpful. Use the documenting approach for follow-up emails. It doesn’t have to be newsworthy, it can just be: This is what’s going on… Thank you! My lead ads are improving. Using FB’s AI to find the right audience is really working. I had an $.85/lead day the other day. Wow! That is a success! I’ve asked “Claude” to improve my email using the style of my blog and been pretty happy with my email campaign. I’ll see what he can do when it comes to spontaneous emails. I’ll keep you updated with how it goes. Thanks for the input!
